Lululemon announced last week that it’s launching Lululemon Studio, a new membership that will be exclusively available via its smart home gym, Lululemon Studio Mirror. The new fitness platform is intended to rev up hybrid fitness by combining its existing roster of 10,000 on-demand and livestreaming classes along with eight new boutique fitness studios that will be accessible online and in person at the company’ brick-and-mortar locations. For $39 a month, members will be able to enjoy unlimited access to workouts from fitness studios like Aarmy, Y7 Studio, Dogpound, Forward_Space, Pure Barre, Rumble, AKT and YogaSix.
The new program comes as Lululemon rebrands its popular smart home gym, Mirror, to Lululemon Studio Mirror. The Lululemon Studio Mirror will be available for a price of $795, plus free delivery, starting on Oct. 5. The change will “add hundreds of hours of content in one place, while providing access to in-person studio classes for the ultimate hybrid experience,” said Michael Aragon, chief executive officer of Lululemon Digital Fitness, in a statement.
You will need to own a Lululemon Studio Mirror to access these classes, which will also be available through the app and in-person. If you already own a Mirror, your existing membership will automatically change to the Lululemon Studio platform. Along with the classes, members will receive 10% off Lululemon purchases, special discounts when they attend in-person Lululemon Studio partner classes, plus unlimited access to classes held in Lululemon stores and other benefits.
The Lululemon Studio Mirror still packs the same classes as the Mirror did and more.
In addition to the new fitness platform and rebranding, Lululemon is launching a free Essential membership in North America. This membership does not require owning a Lululemon Studio Mirror and gives you free access to studio perks, community events and select Lululemon Studio classes. Members will also receive early access to new Lululemon products and more.
The Lululemon Studio Mirror is priced at $795, which is $700 cheaper than the Mirror previously was. It can be purchased here.
