LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Staff at Good Life Fitness wanted to make sure kids had a successful school year with $1000 in donations. The gym thanked those who donated by having a bit of fun in the sun on Saturday afternoon.
Members of the staff took turns getting soaked in a dunk tank donation game, and after taking a short break, the owner and manager of the gym threw a face full of pie at each other to give people a laugh.
“Today we did a really special thing,” said owner Steve Auxier. “We did our Food Bank donation today for the Backpack Program. So we have several great things going on today. We had amazing support from the members and the community.”
If that wasn’t enough, 11 kids took part in a relay race in the parking lot, and then calmed down with some Goat Yoga.
